School Project

I entered this project as an ADDY entry and I'm very blessed to have received a silver ADDY award for this package design!

This project allowed me a lot of creativity. We were given a box template at random and assigned to design our packaging in an art style of our choice.

I illustrated a traditional Japanese woman and cherry blossoms to combine with the Art Deco style because of my interest in Manga and tea!

Though I enjoyed working with these elements, it was a challenge because we had to follow guidelines to keep the nutrition facts to code. Who knew there were specific size requirements for different sized packages?

Because this design was printed and cut out, I was able to do a physical photoshoot of the box instead of using a mock up.

I'm very happy with the results for this piece and I think it would be interesting to design more flavors in different colors!
